Know who is calling before you answer

The phone rings while you are packing orders. Instead of an anonymous number, your screen shows a customer card: Emma Wilson, customer since 2021, 12 orders, €4,820, last order in progress. You pick up already knowing who you are talking to and what the conversation is worth.

CallerPeek is a pair of components: a plugin you install in your own WooCommerce store and an Android app included in the price. The plugin creates a private endpoint on your server, and the app queries it the moment a call comes in. Nothing else is needed — no account, no subscription service, no third party in the middle.

Three steps, two minutes

• 1. Install the plugin — upload the ZIP via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
• 2. Scan the QR code — the plugin panel generates a code for a specific employee; the app pairs with the store in one scan.
• 3. Answer informed — every call shows the customer details from your own store.

Guests without an account are recognised too

In WooCommerce stores a large share of orders is placed without creating an account. CallerPeek looks the number up among registered customers first, then in the billing addresses of orders — so a caller who bought once as a guest is recognised as well, together with their order history.

What appears on the phone

You decide which details reach the screen — tick them in the plugin panel:

• customer name and the year they started buying from you
• number of orders and lifetime spend
• date, status and amount of the last order
• history of earlier calls from that number
• optionally: a masked e-mail address and the customer role

The card appears as a popup above every app, and on a locked phone as a window over the lock screen, with no unlocking needed. One tap calls back.

The panel in your store

• Devices — one per phone, each with its own token and QR code. You see status, last use and the number of lookups made today.
• Call back — callers from the last 7 days. The app reports whether the call was answered and the plugin checks whether an order followed. Customers marked "Call back!" are the ones who called and bought nothing.
• Call log — date, number, matched customer with a link to their profile, device and IP address. Purged automatically after a configurable number of days.

WooCommerce compatibility

• HPOS and classic storage — the plugin supports the new order tables (High-Performance Order Storage, default since WooCommerce 8) and the older post-based storage. It detects which one you use; there is nothing to configure.
• Wide version support — WordPress 5.0–7.0, WooCommerce 3.0–10.9, PHP 7.0–8.4.
• No performance impact — the plugin adds nothing to your storefront. Only its own endpoint is called, and only at the moment the phone rings.
• Two endpoint addresses — the classic ?callerpeek=lookup and REST /wp-json/callerpeek/v1/lookup, for installations with unusual permalinks.

Security and GDPR

• No cloud — the query goes from the phone straight to your store. We keep no database of numbers and have no access to your data.
• A token per employee — an employee leaving or a lost phone is one click on "Revoke".
• QR code without a token — it carries a one-time code valid for 10 minutes, so a screenshot is worthless moments later.
• Anti-theft limits — a per-minute request limit and a daily per-device limit block bulk extraction of the customer base.
• HTTPS only — unencrypted connections are rejected.
